On the evening of December 16, the production process of Longjiang Chemical’s annual 200,000-ton bisphenol A project was opened, and qualified products were successfully produced in one start-up, marking the first phase of the polycarbonate joint project The most complex and critical parts of the engineering process have been completed.
Longjiang Chemical's annual output of 200,000 tons of bisphenol A project started construction on April 20, 2022. After nearly 20 months of construction, the project was put into trial operation on December 9. The overall construction and start-up time are at the leading level in the industry.
At present, Longjiang Chemical has signed a long-term sales agreement for 30,000 tons/year of bisphenol A. In addition, 8 companies will trial Longjiang Chemical's bisphenol A products in batches, and 43 companies will carry out product samples.
The bisphenol A project with an annual output of 200,000 tons is the last link in the industrial chain of the three sets of equipment in the first phase of Longjiang Chemical's polycarbonate joint project. The successful commissioning of this bisphenol A project will help Longjiang Chemical build a full industrial chain. The integrated project has taken a key step and laid a solid foundation for the construction of the second phase polycarbonate project.
