Storage method
This product should be sealed and stored in a cool, dry place away from light.
Synthesis method
1) Trimethylamine hydrochloride and a certain amount of ethylene oxide are continuously prepared into the choline chloride solution by a pump and fed into the reactor continuously. The residence time of the reactants in the reactor is 1-1.5h. . The reaction is carried out under stirring, and the products are continuously drawn out to keep the liquid level in the reactor stable. The crude choline chloride product drawn from the reactor enters the stripping tower, and 60-80% choline chloride liquid product is obtained from the bottom of the tower. (2) React trimethylamine hydrochloride with ethylene oxide, then add organic acid to neutralize and concentrate to prepare choline chloride. (3) Choline chloride is produced by reacting chloroethanol with trimethylamine.
A product obtained from the reaction of trimethylamine and ethylene oxide. The product can also be obtained by reacting chloroethanol with trimethylamine under the catalysis of a small amount of ethylene oxide or alkaline substances.
Purpose
1. As a feed additive, choline chloride has the following physiological effects: it can prevent fat accumulation and tissue degeneration in the liver and kidneys; it can promote the recombination of amino acids; it can increase the concentration of amino acids, especially the essential amino acid methionine. In vivo utilization. In Japan, 98% of choline chloride is used as an additive for animal feed such as chickens, pigs, beef cattle, fish and shrimps. Most of them are processed into powders. The preparation method of 50% powder is to add excipients of appropriate particle size in the mixer in advance, then dropwise add choline chloride aqueous solution, mix and dry. Some commercial powders also contain vitamins, minerals, drugs, etc. Choline chloride is a vitamin B drug, used for hepatitis, liver function degeneration, early cirrhosis, pernicious anemia and other diseases.
2.Choline is an important substance needed by livestock, poultry, and fish. In animals, it can regulate the metabolism and transformation of fat, effectively prevent and treat fat deposition and tissue degeneration in livestock and poultry organs, enhance the physical fitness and disease resistance of livestock and poultry, promote growth and development, and improve the utilization of amino acids. When there is a lack of choline in the feed of minks, pigs, rabbits, cattle and other livestock, the livestock will be stunted, with rough fur and soft bones, reduced growth, and frailty.
