The third phase BDO and second phase PTMEG projects of Lanshan Tunhe were successfully delivered

On September 8, the delivery and tenth anniversary celebration of Xinjiang Lanshan Tunhe Energy Co., Ltd.’s Phase III 104,000-ton BDO project and Phase II 46,000-ton PTMEG project were grandly held in Qitai County, Changji Prefecture, Xinjiang .

-The butanediol project is located in Qitai County, Changji Prefecture, Xinjiang. It is in response to the national western development strategy and the autonomous region’s superior resource transformation strategy, and closely focuses on the “Spirit of the Central Xinjiang Work Forum” and the “Xinjiang 14th Five-Year Plan and 2035 Vision” “Target Planning Outline” closely relies on Xinjiang’s resource advantages, geographical location advantages and overall industrial chain advantages, and utilizes local abundant coal and limestone resources to carry out industrial chain supporting projects for PBT and PBS products.

The project officially started construction on April 1, 2022, and has experienced various challenges such as repeated epidemics, lagging supply of on-site equipment and materials, high temperatures in summer and severe cold in winter. In order to ensure that the project progressed as planned, the staff worked overtime to meet the deadline and completed various construction tasks with all their strength. Finally, after 17 months, the handover was successfully completed. The successful completion of the project indicates that another high-quality, high-level BDO and PTMEG factory will be successfully put into operation.
