Infinix has gradually built its reputation in the smartphone market in recent years, and design has been a key part of the brand’s rise. The smartphone brand, owned by Transsion Holdings, has recently launched a new product called 3D
Technology from Lighting Leather, which pairs colorful LED lights with translucent thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) leather around the edge of the phone’s back.
This new technology uses a four-layer structure. The bottom layer is an LED light guide film (LFG) base layer, which is coated with light-blocking paint to enhance its light transmittance. There is a transparent glass fiber in the middle, allowing the LED light to pass through the translucent
TPU leather shines. Infinix plans to combine this new 3D Lighting Leather technology with sound effects to provide dynamic notifications and reminders for various apps.
3D Lighting Leather technology will debut on the Infinix Note 30 VIP Special Edition model later this month.
