On September 18, the public participation in the environmental impact assessment of the 250,000-ton annual special resin project of Guangdong Tianhe Resin Co., Ltd. was announced for the first time.

Construction content and scale: Mainly engaged in the production of synthetic resins, with an annual output of 25,000 tons of bicyclic special resins, 75,000 tons of o-/m/p-benzene special resins, 10,000 tons of vinyl resins, and water-based alkyd resins. 40,000 tons, 10,000 tons of water-based hydroxy acrylic resin, 35,000 tons of water-based epoxy resin, 20,000 tons of water-based polyurethane resin, 30,000 tons of UV light curing new materials, and 5,000 tons of water-based color paste.
Project investment:100 million yuan
On April 11, Guangdong Tianhe Resin Co., Ltd. acquired industrial land in Baihua Town, Huidong, with a total transaction price of 88.5 million yuan. The agreed start date is July 20, 2024. On May 30, the Natural Resources Bureau of Huidong County, Huizhou City announced the pre-approval of the "Construction Land Planning Permit" of Guangdong Tianhe Resin Co., Ltd.
The controlling shareholder of Guangdong Tianhe Resin Co., Ltd. is Zhejiang Tianhe Resin Co., Ltd., which is affiliated to Tianhe Resin Co., Ltd. and a member of Shanghai Xintianhe Industrial Group. It is one of the largest unsaturated resin suppliers in China. Tianhe Resin has a chemical research institute in Songjiang District, Shanghai, focusing on polymer research. It also has two major resin production bases, Zhejiang Tianhe and Nantong Tianhe, with an annual output of 180,000 tons of unsaturated polyester resin and 100,000 tons of water-based resin. 10,000 tons, 10,000 tons of adhesive; and Jiangsu Daoming DCP Dicumyl peroxide production base, with an annual output of 24,000 tons of DCP. Zhejiang Tianhe Resin's annual output of 5,000 tons of water-based epoxy resin project has been completed and accepted in 2022.
