KRAIBURG TPE is a global manufacturer of thermoplastic elastomers (TPE), providing TPE products and customized solutions for multiple industries. Among them, THERMOLAST® H
A safe and durable material solution that meets the diverse needs of pipette manufacturers. The collection is in line with new trends and ergonomics, with a nice and soft touch, focusing on sustainability, safety and functionality.
Thermoplastic elastomers (TPE) have very high plasticity, and their diverse hardness and durability can be used with laboratory equipment or liquid introduction equipment (such as pipettes), greatly meeting the requirements of manufacturers in all aspects.
Pipettes come in many different forms and are used for different functions. For example, manual and electronic pipettes are designed for laboratory use.
Benefits brought by THERMOLAST® H series in the design and production of pipettes
•With good compression resilience, manufacturers can mold the push button into the desired shape according to needs and accurately distribute the number of specimens.
•Thermoplastic elastomers (TPE) maintain their shape and properties, providing a good seal.
•Thermoplastic elastomer (TPE)
It is a safe and durable material suitable for pipette handles. Its good touch is ergonomic, and its soft touch reduces fatigue on the user’s hands and fingers, and reduces the pressure on the thumb from the push button.
•Covering the pipette grip with thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) creates a non-slip surface, ensuring safe specimen transfer and accuracy.
•Can be encapsulated with PP, PE, polar thermoplastics (such as PC, ABS, PC/ABS, ASA, SAN, PET, PETG and PS) through various injection molding processes.
•Can be painted – differentiate its functionality and give it an attractive color. Transparent and natural colors are available pre-colored and can be customized according to customer requirements.
•The THERMOLAST® H series places great emphasis on safety and is manufactured in accordance with ISO 10993-5 and GB/T
16886.5 (cytotoxicity) tested to internationally recognized standards such as US FDA CFR 21; Regulation (EU) No 10/2011; and REACH and
RoHS.
•Free of animal components, PVC, silicone and latex, and sterilizable in an autoclave at 121°C or by ethylene oxidation.
•Contains three series to meet different application needs of pipette components:
-HC/AD – Series with compression resilience
-HC/RS/AP – series with re-sealing properties
-HC/AD1/AP – series with polar encapsulation
